Chinese film "Kora". Propaganda for sure, but still a fun ride of a film.

Just saw Wreck-It Ralph this weekend and loved it! Was cool to see all the game cameos too ^.^
Also was forced to watch the first 10 minutes or so of a movie called The FP...I don't think I could sit through the whole movie since it seemed so ridiculously bad. They have their own slang words they use in the movie's world. Just so bad... |

"Skyfall". Great movie. Cheesy one-liners, sad ending, homo-eroticism thanks to the delectable Javier Bardem. They have really set up the next two films well (at least I'm hoping they continue with the tone of a grittier, more realistic Bond).

Saw Wreck-It-Ralph last nice and it was really cute and a fun movie. I have some nitpicks with it, not to mention the plot hole involving the movie's main villain, but overall it was solid. The cameos/easter eggs were super-well done, and it was a very fun family movie.

Dredd 3D.
I actually forgot that it was a 3D film when I bought the ticket, because I've been referring to it as Dredd-d-d-d for the past month. But it was awesome. SO AWESOME. I really wish I still had my motorbike on me, just so I could ride it and pretend to be a judge. Every bit as gorey as I was hoping, and surprisingly pretty, loved the slowmo effects. 3D is still shite.

I watched Prometheus and I thought it wasn't that great, ok for netflix. Maybe the first two Alien movies just raised the bar to high for me. 3/5

The last movie I have watched is The Twilight. Actually I just saw the first and second episodes and I have no patience to continue. I will rate 5/5 to the first and 3/5 to the second as it bored me.

I don't think a two part TV movie counts so
Peter Pan 2003 4.5/5 I may be a bit bias here seeing as I harbor an unhealthy obsession with peter pan but this one was the most accurate to the books in which peter actually did act like the selfish brat that he is. It was adorable cute and sad. They explained how things worked in neverland which they didn't in other movies. And if it weren't for the few, very few inaccuracy's I'd give it a 5. Also the music was amazing I could listen to that all day. |
