48FPS is GORGEOUS. But I think it will only work in movies with real sets for EVERYTHING. I loved how REAL the whole thing felt, but you were acutely aware when something was CGI.

3.5/5. Mediocre adaptation that felt like a Peter Jackson fanfic of the Hobbit at times, but still enjoyable.
I hate 3D and I think it will make me dizzy.

I Do (a Chinese movie that my mom randomly found on Youtube xD I was kinda surprised that it wouldn't have been taken down for copyright reasons, but oh well).

After a year of buying Blu-ray movies and not having a Blu-ray player until Black Friday, I'm finally just now watching my first ever Bly-ray movie at home ^.^

Really? Thats strange I had the opposite reaction. I thought the scenes with CGI fitted best with 48 fps, I thought the sets looked really fake. Maybe because the majority of the cgi stuff comes later in the film and you've already had a chance to get used to it. Where as at the start it's very jarring because it's not what your expecting and it happens to coincide with the sets they built for the Shire. I really didn't like the 48 fps, films are ussually shot 24 fps and tv at higher framerates and I can't help but associate it with that. It makes everything look too fluid and smooth which I get is the intention but it makes it look like everything is moving slightly too quickly. Especially given that the first 30s mins is just Bilbo dithering about in the Shire it does make it look very televisiual. Once you reach Rivendell things start picking up.

Watched Brave and I thought it was really good. The animation was great and it had a nice story. 4.5/5

Rise Of The Guardians in 3D (4th time *blushes*) Everytime you watch it there's some new little thing you never noticed last time and the music is just *faints* 5/5 most certainly
