A trailer, a review, stick its name in to imdb, anything just find out a bit more before go and disapoint yourself.
The description isn't really helping... the military struggling against the invasion, as the journalist escorts the shaken tourist...

Sounds to me like lots of things blowing up and gunfire, aliens vs. the military a constant as these people run through the area. I'd still watch it though.

Last Movie watched: Hoodwinked too!

My thoughts: a fun film with lots of little 'adult' jokes snuck in (like the Shrek series) but ultimately not as deep as the original and so more than a little disappointing. . . but I still enjoyed it on a simple "this is a light comedy" level.

I wanted to find out more about Tyrannosaur so I put it in IMDB... and then I checked what the forums where saying.

... For fucks sake. Why you so fucking stupid IMDB people?!

Literally a 100 topics just going "Hurr the movie's called Tyrannosaur, lol why no dinosaurs?"

Infact thats probably too intelligible and well spelt to pass for IMDB...

But honestly, at what point did metaphors stop existing? The name is explained in the film anyway and besides I think its a good title, think what a term like tyrannosaur can mean when applied to a person?

Not all film titles have to be black and fucking white spellings out of exactly what happens, not everything has to be as literal as Snakes on a Plane? Can you imagine if something One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or To Kill a Mockingbird where released now?

I love One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I might have been the only one in my entire graduating class, but I loved it.

I agree with you that people are a little extra stupid lately with movies. I did feel like the entire "crossing the river" scene of Monsters set up for some holycrap!ALIENS scenes later on and I was disappointed by that. To be completely honest, Monsters came on right after Battle Los Angeles and I really just wanted more angry action Scifi without having to go digging for Aliens in the DVD cabinet... After I actually thought about the movie and the context, I realized that the focus wasn't really aliens at all...

I keep forgetting that you're a film student and actually watch movies for the movie and not the explosions... Like me cause I'm mentally a 9 year old boy.. and you've talked about Tyrannosaur enough that I now need to find and see. I will force feed it to Kator next movie night.

The last movie I've seen was The Ring, but it was for the third time. My sister had rented it to watch, so we just popped it in on a down night. To this day, when I first watched it when it had come out on video, I still remember how genuinely scared I was when she had come out of the TV near the end of the movie. It gave me nightmares for days.

Last movie I watched: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (with my sister)

Rate: 3/5 (for plot) 5/5 (for visuals)

It was entertaining, pretty, and fun to laugh at since both my sister and I were slapstick hyper when we watched it. It was about the 8th time I've seen it though.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - 4/5

I didn't have any kind of set expectations for this movie (especially with a title like that), but I was generally impressed with the film overall. Great movie for kids and adults alike.

12 Angry Men -3.5/5

As a film i'd say it were a 4/5, but when thinking about if it were a good film, like i'd watch it again for fun, I give it a 3. Hence, 3.5.
The last time I poted here, about a month ago, it was for To Kill a Mockign Bird in my english class. Same thing goes here. 12 Angry Men, for english.

Is it sad that the only 2 films in recent history I've seen were for school, and were a month apart?

anyway. It was a pretty good film, considering I was expecting worse. I don't know what to say. There 12 men. and they were angry. *shrugs*

Right now I'm watching Pocahontas. My favourite Disney movie after Mulan.

Puss In Boots

5/5

It was not only funny, but had a heart-felt story begind it. It was great to see where Puss originally came from as well. It made him more "human".

Friends with Benefits. I'd say... 3.5/5
I really liked this movie actually. It was predictable, as most RomComs are, but I thought it was pretty cute.

Son of No One 3.5/5

It was a rather good and interesting story. Though it was at some points taking rather long to get to the point. Though still a very good movie, though not to watch a second time.

A bit outdated but I finally watched the Hulk, so now I am fully prepped for The Avengers. This is something I am rather excited about.
