The first time I wore lolita out....I did not get good reactions. Little girls glared at me, adults stared in disapproval, teenagers sneered and gawked....it was odd and unexpected and made me feel entirely uncomfortable and out of place.

But...today I went out to the mall with one of my friends, we both dressed in lolita....and it was wonderful. No one said anything about me being a boy in a skirt (makeup and wigs do wonderful things, haha) people called us dolls, they wanted photos, they gave us nothing but compliments. I was blown away by such positive energy and reactions from total strangers...it's given me a bit of confidence to perhaps do it more often.

I have not had the guts to go outside in either my Gothic or sweet pink Lolita outfits yet. As a transgender its much harder on me. Mostly its the sissy shemale krep we have to deal with. But I will do it soon, most likely in my Alice outfit though as it is my favorite.
