Question Light up goggles/glasses?

I've seen them around on one or two cosplayers... I saw a Dr. Stien with light up glasses and a few other characters i'm not familiar with with 'em.
Light up goggles/glasses would be so epic, man. SO epic.
*strokes imaginary beard* Now, see, I kinda can figure how to do it if you're wearin' 'em on your head... but what about if you want to wear them on your face? Is there a way to light them up without obstructing your view/obstructing your view too much?

Thoughts? Ideas for me to test out? Discuss your brains out, peeps! ;P

From what I know, putting a couple of lights on the inside of lenses doesn't make it that hard to see except in the dark, as long as the light isn't being shone into your eyes (and even then, it doesn't cause much trouble if the area's well lit). Plus you don't really need a very bright light to just make something glow.

As a rule of thumb; your vision is only obscured if the side of the lens facing your eye has more light shining on it than the side that isn't.
