Thanks. You know...I think I'm just going to go for it. If everyone thinks I'm a girl...whatever....it wouldn't be the first time. I'm just hoping that once I get a few pieces I won't feel as worried over it.

Yeah, if that's you in your cosplay pictures, and I hope that I'm not being insulting or degrading, but you're very pretty. In Lolita, however, that's CELEBRATED. Know who else is very pretty like that and wears Lolita? Mana. Mana is a Lolita Icon.

It is me, and it's not degrading. It's how I can still manage to do the more boyish characters and occasionally crossplay. But you can probably see how I could be mistaken too easily ^^;
I purchased my first lolita skirt today; a Metamorphose Nostalgic Chessboard in black. I'll see if I can get some photos when it comes in the mail I think.

I am a MtF transgender so I do not consider it cross-dressing at all. In fact the first 12 years of my life I grew up female and was raised with Mary Janes, white tights, petticoats and dresses to the knees. However I was forced back to male and I never had the guts to dress like that again until I finally got fed up and said you know what this is who I am and that was that. This is my very first pink Lolita outfit I got yesterday. I have feared wearing this type so for years I just went with the long Victorian style / steampunk stuff. I am not a pro at this in fact I consider myself a noob-ette but I have enough experience in my past t understand the style and I hope I can get it right
