Tale of the Abyss Anise Tatlin help
I am going to make/ attempt to make Anise from tales of the Abyss
Reference image: http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/files...8/Aniseref.jpg and I am just utterly lost on how to go about this. The pattern/construction I can manage. I am just not sure how I can approach how to do: 1. How to sew the purple and white rims around the dress/collar and the design on the collar itself 2. The brown leathery looking part on her shoes. 3. The material and type of fabric I should look into getting to do all of this Please and thank you for any of the advice and help!!! Much appreciated. |

1. Bias tape for the borders. Here's a tutorial. Applique for the designs. A tutorial. You can probably get by with ironing extra bias tape flat to use with the applique, since her designs are relatively thin.
3. I think cotton sateen (not satin, it's a cotton with a light sheen to it) would look nice. I think you should also use some light/medium weight interfacing for her pennants, to help give them a nice shape. Pleather for her shoes, spandex for the upper portions.
