We are officially booked in Saturday at 2pm location tcc 2! Check out the Photoshoot thread
for a map with locations and a pdf with times.

Now that that's settled, if there were any specific categories people wanted to have a photo of at the shoot, for example, fighting games, or Sega, or Nintendo characters. Post them here and I can start a list to go through during the shoot.

Awesome, thanks for sending off that email. Woo co-leaders! I actually like that location better, if it's the one I am thinking of in the corner of the building.

Anyway, yes I think some categories would be good because I guess it would be MASSIVE, and maybe a group shot with everyone. Here's some that pop into my head at the moment:
Nintendo - possibly sub category of Super Smash Brothers (battle scenes!)
Sega
Capcom
Square Enix (including FF?)
etc...

Or we can do series such as:
Bioshock
Super Mario
Star Fox (thinking of your Falco here! hehe)
Team Fortress
Minecraft
etc...

But I think it would be best to avoid shoots like all Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, etc because they have their own shoot but can be included in a group misc game character shot. If that makes any sense at all... ( I am running purely on coffee so excuse my hyperness)

Thoughts?

Having categories for photos would probably be a smart idea. Just from glancing at the list on the first page I'd say broader categories would probably be best to use (instead of, say, doing one game only (unless you have a whole group from one series)). Maybe have some categories based on game genre (eg. RPG, FPS, Adventure, etc.), and some on game company (Capcom, Nintendo, etc.)?

*Note that if massive amounts of cosplayers show up the broader categories might not work as well.

That is true. I am also thinking of those not on the list. I know that there is a FF shoot at 1 on the same day so they may gravitate over to us at 2. Hard to say. I do like the broad category suggestion.

We could also have say Sega vs Nintendo which would cover a large group but not too large.

Awesome news~ I just got word that my Roll costume has been completed and shipped off. And since I paid extra money (and it was a lot of money X( ) it's being sent by express mail, so it should be here in time for the con~ So with some luck, I will be going as Roll as planned.

I would do it by producer and if there is a Larger group showing up for a franchise then do those separately.

Good point. So you're thinking: Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony, etc and if that's too broad narrow it down. Yea I think that's what we'll end up doing, thanks for the input
