Feathers for wings

I did a search on the topic, and everyone suggests this company but there's a few issues with them. For one, they won't answer my emails when I try to ask them about pricing and such. And I also just have a phobia of making phonecalls to people I don't know, so it's freaking my out a bit trying to call them.

Are there any other companies that sell feathers like that? That I can order online with.

Thanks.

I've only ever been able to find one other place that sells feathers in bulk, but I don't know what they're like unfortunately.

Lamplight Feathers

I had great success with this company. Very fast shipping and the prices are about as good as I found. I seem to recall them being very good about communications.

I had a good experience with http://www.ostrich.com
The website is a little weird but the service and selection was good. I was purchasing individual feathers. I don't know how they are for bulk.

Thanks.
I bought from Rainbow Feather -I had to call them to ask questions too. They were super nice on the phone. There were certain feathers on the site that said I had to buy 10 packs - I asked if I could buy 4 packs instead since I was buying a pound bulk and they said sure. They will treat you like a customer.

Depending on what you're making - you may want to consider felt for feathers:

Real feathers are expensive and stinky and they get damaged really easily. I used felt stiffened with some glue and water. They are super sturdy and I was able to make huge feathers I'd never be able to purchase.

Good luck!

I just had to contact my credit card company in dealing with Rainbowfeathers. They took my money and never sent the feathers, several months later I've been refunded by my credit card but Rainbowfeathers won't return my calls/emails or from American Express.

JoAnn Fabrics and Micheals sells bulk feathers. some are smaller, but if you do the right mix of the little feathers and larger feathers, it turns out great. Its the cheap way out.
