hair "horns"

So I'm cosplaying CL from 2ne1. One of her looks are these crazy "hair horns". Ive planed on doing this w a base wig, sytrofoam cones doctored to give the shape of the horns and then using extensions to cover it. my question is, how can i attach the horns to the base? i was thinking just sewing it, but since it is styrofoam will i have any issues with it?
Here is the image: She is the one in the middle.
Thanks for the help!

I'm only guessing since I haven't done this before, but maybe try thick chunks of craft foam? That would be easier to sew on, I'm thinking.

would you do the craft foam glued to the foam n then sew that to the wig?

What they said I would take craft foam, heat it up curve it in the horn shapes, and to make it easier leave a piece on the end of the horn that will provide a "base" to sew the horn onto the wig.

Also noting the hairs weight, you could take the Styrofoam wrap it in moulded craft foam and sew the craft foam onto the wig.

I'd just crave it out of styrofoam of upholstery foam
Carve out a hole into the base center for a dowel or wire spike
Paint the foam to match your hair
Warp and glue the hair down to the foam
Create base with with headband with wood dowels attached to it or spiked plates that fit under the wig and the horn. can be friction fitted onto the dowels of spikes.
