Last minute reminders!
As we’re nearing closer to the shoot, I wanted to add these final words:
Stay hydrated. Bring water with you, if possible. While we’ll be outside during a “cooler” time of day, it’s Texas. It’s still hot. Water makes everything better.
Use sunscreen. Even if it’s cloudy, the sun’s rays can penetrate up to 95%. Be safe!
Leave your attitudes at the door/room/car/hotel. In general, we’re always a friendly group. So I don’t expect this to be an issue at all, but I have to put it out there in case someone wants to ruin the fun.
Please listen to the host and co-host (even though there isn’t one this year; any volunteers?). Like the last note and based on past experiences, another non-issue. lol But make sure to listen to the host. There are a lot of us, so it’s easy for chatter to get lost.
Photographers and fans are all welcomed! We do have a photographer specifically coming out to the shoot and will pull people aside in singles and groups for solo photos. If you don’t want to be a part of the solo photos, that’s ok. You can say no.
This is an all Final Fantasy, fans, cosplayers, and photographers event.
Keep it PG. There is always potential that kids will be attending or wandering around.
Stay as long as you’d like. The 10am time slot is perfect because most panels/events/rooms don’t open until 11. But if you want to leave early, it’s ok. You might miss out on some fun times though! You’d be surprised how fast an hour goes during these events, and I always take photo suggestions at the end.
As always, feedback is appreciated! We’re doing something uniquely different for the photo lineup, so I’d love to hear what everyone thinks about it.
See you all Saturday! I’ll be the chick with horns in a long black dress, if you have any questions, suggestions, thoughts, etc.
