I hope it's not considered too spammy or annoying to bump this up considering the event is happening this Saturday, and we have more news to report!
We've confirmed Japanese Taiko group "Jodaiko" will be performing at the event. Here's a clip from one of their recent performances: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtS27VjR4XI Something unique to our event and of particular interest to cosplayers is our Kimono sale. We will be selling authentic (made in Japan) gently-used Kimonos at the event at ridiculous prices. A great opportunity for someone looking to purchase a kimono or its fabric for cosplay. Four local artists will also being giving free workshops and demonstrations in digital art techniques, chibi and realistic character design, and independent comic book and manga publishing. Direct link to event schedule PDF Hope to see at least some of you there! |
