Hello! I'm hoping somebody around this forum would be able to help me with a little costume problem I'm having.

I bought a Harley Quinn costume for Halloween/Comic Con and it was really great and lots of fun. I would love to play Harley again sometime, but first I want to make alterations to the outfit.

As you can probably tell, the suit is rather large on me, but that's not what I need help with. The fabric of the costume was a matte, stretchy material. I would rather it be shiny, like this nice lady's costume:

Is there any way that I can take the costume I have now and make it gloss like hers?

I can't think of any way to do that, though her costume is for sale online if you're interested in that?
