Dying a binding shirt

I looked through a few pages, and I haven't seen anything on this, but I could have just missed it. Also I hope this is in the right forum, I don't post a lot.

Basically, I am doing a cosplay of a male, and will need to bind for it (obviously). The only problem is, if I use a white or black binding shirt, you will be able to see said binding shirt underneath the outfit. I would need it to be skin colored, or as close to my skintone as possible.

So my question is, what is the best dye to use to dye a binding shirt so that it's skin color. And will it hold dye pretty well? Or should I go with the airbrushing method? And if so, how would I go about that?

Any help would be appreciated. <3

What's the binding shirt made from? I remember reading somewhere about people dyeing them with acid dyes, but that would require them to be primarily nylon (and even then it's hit or miss depending on surface treatments) and does require heating the garment. You might also check the crossplay forum and see if anyone's asked about this in the binding-specific threads.
