Stupid question on wrinkling/distorting a homemade polyester jacket?
Hi, there. Really stupid cosplayer asking a really stupid question (I'm a beginner, so please bear with my idiocracy).
I'm a 16-year-old female cosplaying as Akimichi Chouji. However, I only weigh 95 pounds. What a difference, huh? XD I've finished a handmade jacket of polyester with a handsewn zipper down the middle, but the jacket falls generically down my sides without any folds. I find this incredibly frustrating, as I want it to wrinkle and have character. Should I bunch up underneath the fabric lightly near the seams on the inside and use a hidden stitch, or is there a better way to do it? Like washing and drying on high heat? I want to give it a more natural feel. Thanks in advance~! |

It would be a good idea to post (as always) reference photos and photos of your costume.
