I'm not excited to go back to robotics tomorrow. Why? Well, a certain someone is going to be there- my ex. No, I'm not bugging out because he's my ex, that doesn't matter anymore. I'm bugging out because he's a total ASS. Just to give you a glimpse at who he is, our last encounter included accusing me of using my panic attacks as an excuse not to do work. Uh-huh. Because being doubled over in the hallway crying and shaking is WAY better than calmly organizing scrap metal. If I could avoid these attacks, I would. In fact, since they seem so appealing to you in comparison to work, why don't you take them off my hands. Then tell me how I'm using them as an excuse.

So yeah, I'm not really excited to see him tomorrow. I'm hoping I can just avoid him entirely and his asshattery.

Not to mention this stomach illness is making me less patient and more pissy than normal.

Disregard this whole post. My mum got onto my account and I guess she was trying to start something. Naturally, people get upset when things supposedly go wrong.

I don't mind my grey/white hair, I earned every strand I have. However my co worker after walking by me decided to try to turn my grey/white hair black again with a ball point pen. >_<

I'm pretty much fed up with commissioners bailing on me. If your going to don't lead me on for two months then stop responding to my messages less then a month from the deadline. Now I either have to give up going to my first con or try to find someone to buy a Cosplay from. I hate this

We can't get that here any more. ;_;

The time when Pokémon had its official cereal out was a glorious one.

There's places you can buy just the marshmallow pieces in Lucky Charms.

I don't like the marshmallows, the consistency, not the taste.

I like them, but they do kinda have this foamy crunch to them that's a bit like packing peanuts.

I agree with Kildread about getting your resume looked at. I have been to some career and resume workshops and they really helped. That being said, something like 80% of jobs are filled by networking. Career fairs can help get your name and experience out there. Also, talk to family and friends, or join a network like LinkedIn. The job I had this year was due to networking, not actual work experience.

If you don't have much job experience, you can't feature that in your resume. Instead, focus on highlighting your education, achievements, and overall skills.

Something else to consider is volunteer work. It's a great way to develop skills and network. Plus, you can use more people as work references when you do get a job interview. Best of luck!
Yes, thats what I brought up before about networking, my best friend since middle-school, whom I have known since 6th grade, works at Home-Depot, has been working there for 2 years now, is still there, has let me use him as a reference, connection, when applying there, because just like how people say "it's not what you know but who you know"

it was enough to get me 2 job interviews at Home-Depot this year, both at different locations each-time, but no luck getting hired, 1 was in January of this year, 1 was in April of this year, got rejected both times.

Also for the past 5 months i've been attending these job development classes twice a week, where they do mock interviews, do resume reviews, lectures on how to be a successful job-seeker.

Are there any specific volunteer opportunities in which you can gain skills, or gain a reference from in which it will increase my chances of getting hired for a simple low-end minimum-wage job at a Grocery Store or Fast-Food place? retail place?

Was worried about someone bailling on me but now my dang family has made it worst by telling me i cant cosplay someone I really wanted to cosplay cause she shows cleavage? This is beyond the challenges I thought I'd face cosplaying..I mean i had to build up courage as a plus size cosplayer to cosplay anyone, then I built up more to break my thought that i had to cosplay only dark skinned ppl,and my will to even show some skin was high only to be shut down the ppl in my life i thought understood me..Gah I hate this

I really hate having to rely on people who are completely unreliable to begin with

So I paid for a meal for a family member that my mother dislikes and when I told her she flipped at me, so then I flipped at her. It's my money I can do what I want with it. Plus, this is the first time in a long time I've even offered him anything. I'll admit, I wasn't right either to have flipped, but her re-action just surprised me. She was SO mad. JUST SO MAD. hahaha.

>not dealing with that today.

@ ILPC:

I was volunteering at my local SPCA thrift store in California. Worked both as a cashier and sorting/pricing. Check your area for independent thrift stores, youth shelters, places where they need man power to sort through donated goods.
