So. Apparently my 19 year old cousin wants to host thanksgiving. I had invited Meghan and her sister to thanksgiving because family plans fell thru. Now, they can't come because there isn't enough room for them. Never mind that Meg's sister has had gastric bypass and will probably eat next to nothing.
I'm kind of pissed. I really want to say if my girlfriend can't come than why should my other cousin's girlfriend can't come. I'd love to say that no one should bring any guests but I know that wont work. I just don't want to tell them that they are uninvited.

Landlord, you're a jerk. MONTHS ago they started installing an intercom system so they could start locking the doors (this place is pretty well a hive of sleazy people. Only five of twelve apartments actually have long-term tenants who don't cause trouble or make a lot of noise, and thus all kinds of trashy people go in and out at all hours. We've had at least half a dozen drug dealers since the late 90's).... because it took so long, I figured he'd be putting up a notice on the actual date the plan's supposed to actually start. No surprise, he gives NO notice. So I come home wwithout that extra key on my ring, and the doors are locked. Try the intercom to tell Dad to let me in? The INTERCOM DOESN'T EVEN WORK. I had to call him to tell him to come down and unlock the door. Good thing he was home, or I would have been stuck outside on a barely-above-freezing night for god knows how long.

Supposedly I need another new modem once again, because I have been getting some really slow speeds and getting disconnected since yesterday. I have AT&T, and this is probably the 4th time I need to get a new modem since being with them. This time I need one with a wireless router built in, so if I have problems with my internet, they would know what to do since it's their product :/ Need my internets!
