I recently finished Barnaby's jacket, seen here: http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3108474/
I didn't want to buy this fabric but it was all I could get my hands on for the time that I had.
As some of you may know, vinyl is a bitch to work with and I was wondering if I would have the same trouble with faux leather. I want to remake the jacket for Anime Expo and I want to use something that's sturdy and not so cheapy looking.
So in your guys' experience, is faux leather very hard to work with in terms of sewing round shapes and does it bunch a lot?
Also, does anyone know if the LA fashion district has a nice selection of faux leather for a decent price? I don't mind paying up to $10/yard since I don't need that much fabric and I do want something quality.
Thanks for your help!!
