well im not exactly fit to be a leader of anything, im reel young....well how bout the ff8 cosplayers? im going to be zell...uh well ive got nothin else to say! cheers to the ff8ers!

I don't have a Quistis costume yet, though, although I have created plans to make one. Do you have a Zell costume, yet, or is it something in your plans to make? Who is the Seifer that's going?

actually, i started making the outfit kind of. im gonna let my hair grow out, since its blonde, so i can spike up the front. this way i wont need a wig. but i dont know how the hell im gonna make the tatto thing on his face....hmmmm...... welll im gonna get the material for the jacket an have some1 sew it. gonna put red fabric on my boots....an just wear some jeans cut off at like a foot under the knee......well thats enuff blabbering for now! o an i gotta get the name of the seifer.......hold up....

im in Canada...so i doubt any people from our group will be going to any American cons anytime soon (Otakon2003! WOOT!) ^_^

but about the face-tattoo, for our Zell, my sister used black eye liner to draw the tattoo's outline first
then she used regular water-based facepaints to fill it in^_^

hey, you did zell's makeup well.

what facepaint did you use when you filled in the outline? i need red markings on my face for a later costume, and your's looks quite sharp! ;9 is it ben nye (i think that's right)? i've heard good things about that brand.

hmm nope i dunt think it smudged at all, tho my San warpaint stuff was lik melting under the hot lights on stage LOL ^_^;;;
and yeah Phil (aka Zell) was dancing a lot and was all sweaty and the stuff still stayed on his face^_^ But SOME facepaints tend to crackle so bring a little mini pot and brush with you to touch up if you think its starting to flake^_^

i hav NO idea wht brand ours was...just some no-name (but damn good) kind i picked up at the craftstore...it came in 24 little pots all in different colours^_^ very cool^_^ (ghetto halloween ones are the crap ones that tend to melt and smear i thinks...yeah...the PartyCity ones stink...trust me LOL i used to work for them^_^;;; )

Oh! and DONT touch your painted face with your fingertips...
LOL! I did it by accident and my San stuff started getting all gross and melty and crackly O_o;

Ben Nye is standard icky stage makeup =P pore clogging but serviceable. That Zell makeup is great!! Lol, my friend made the mistake of doing it in henna once ...heheh, oops. Standard eyeliners work pretty well too...
