Like Sandman comics? With Death and Dream and Despair and all them?

Ooh. I have one of the graphic novels, "Death: At Death's Door" that I completely forgot about. Death would be a pretty easy one to pull off from that comic, she's pretty chill as far as design goes. I think my favorite is Delirium, she has so many random outfits to choose from. Oh, darn you, I'm gonna have to add that to my ever-growing list of cosplay ideas. xD

I love Death: At Death's Door! <3
I'll look forward to seeing your costume if you do it.
Have you read the comics?
I'm done with my Death costume, I tried to take photos yesterday, actually, but my photographer was having some issues with his camera, so I didn't get any good ones =/

You know, it's weird, but I don't think anyone ever made a dedicated Sandman thread. Despite that, yep, I still see a few cosplayers from it every so often. Several years ago, I did Dream Hunters style Morpheus...and I still seem to be using him actively. ^_^;

Sandman!!
One day I will get to do a Sandman costume. Probably Death or Delirium. I would love to do a group sometime.

I'm planning to do Death for Ohayocon this year. My only problem is one I just realized. Running around in a cami in January in Ohio might not be the warmest thing. I was thinking of trying to find a black jacket to wear over it, but then I realized I have a black hoodie. Would that work for her or should I just find a jacket?

I'm probably going to put together a Death for Halloween this year. I finally got my hands on some digital copies of the actual comics and I've been reading them the past few days. Death would be probably the lowest budget one and it's a pretty simple outfit. Tank top. Black jeans. Stuff I can find pretty cheap. I'm broke as all get out. Lol

Her outfit has several variations on the same theme, so you could probably get away with a hoodie. For my Death costume, I used a vintage black velvet blazer my mother made some 30 or 40 years ago. Check out her outfit as Didi in "The High Cost of Living" - Death wears a jacket in that.

Sandman~ <3 Dream Hunters version of Morpheus was my first comic book costume - when I got my first check back from my scholarships and had disposable money for the first time ever, I bought a pair of black sclera and I use 'em for various Dream costumes: so far Dream Hunters, "The Sound of her Wings" casual, and Daniel Hall.

Yui, yours is my favorite ever Dream Hunters Morpheus. I remember staring at photos of your costume when I was attempting to start on my own.

I feel the need to bring out Sandman costumes at ever comic convention I go to... It's a great way to meet fans, since sometimes it feels like it's difficult to find anyone who's heard of it.

Audrey, you look fantastic. Very well done.
I've been Desire two or three times. It's fun, but fewer people recognize it.

So glad to see this!
Sandman is easily one of my favorite series, and I'm going to be working on a Delirium costume soon (easy enough, as I already have stuff that could work for her as part of my regular wardrobe). I would love to do Desire, but I just don't have the body type to pull it off. I would love to do Barbie, too, with the checkerboard makeup.

Yui, your Morpheus is unbelievable. I have never seen a better Dream cosplay that I can recall.
