Red Cosplay Help
This is my first post, so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. @___@ But anyways, I want to cosplay Red! I just got a sewing machine for Christmas, and I can sew basic things, but I've never made a garment before. For the jacket, is there a pattern type that I should look for? And what type of fabric should I use? ;A; As for the pop-up collar... I expect that I'll have to modify the pattern a tad to get it like that, right?
Ahh, sorry, I'm not really experienced at this... At all. >A<" |

Your best bet is to grab a pattern for a basic dress shirt, which is what I based mine of from.
For frabric choices, I went with red and white twill, though any other kind of heavy fabric would do *after all, it is a jacket*. Lastly, the pop up collar should be incorporated with the dress shirt pattern, though a little interfacing is reccomended for it to stay popped up |
