 Had a very good experience with the costume contest this year. This was my first time competing there since 2006. Everything ran smoothly, wait time was minimal for both getting on stage and waiting for awards to be announced. Thanks to Anime Sushi for making it a success!

Muuuuuuch smoother in terms of timing than previous years in all respects, so fantastic job there AnimeSushi! Judging went quickly and well, and the contest started/ended pretty much right on time--it was awesome to only be waiting a short time in the hallway where it can get pretty stuffy. Once again, can't say enough good stuff about that.
A few things that seemed a little odd though-- the lights being on in the back of the contest room and the music being so low. Were these due to technical difficulties or something else? It just really detracted from the usual feel of the contest.
