As for Asura's Wrath, I think it's going to be a fun visual novel that will be interesting to watch. Playing it will probably be a chore. QTE's are supposed to break up game play or serve as transitions; if you're taken out of a story or an awesome fight sequence to mash B only to have to look forward to mashing b again 2 seconds later, people will lose interest. I thought they realized that from their PS2 days, but...apparently not.

I hope the story is really excellent, because the gameplay is DEFINITELY going to get tedious.

If it had any kind of a ranking system, I'll probably replay it multiple times until I can get all S's. Again, the Panzer stages alone make it worth the money to me. It's no Sin & Punishment, but holy shit, that first stage in the demo was unexpectedly fun.

Welp, after today's presser, I think it's pretty safe to say that I'm out for SFxT. They are doing all the wrong things with this one.

To be fair, Capcom didn't develop the EX series. But it's a similar type deal where, when that game was coming out and you were reading about it in gamepro, you were like, "oh man...what is...WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!?"

Last night's stream made me say a lot of that. Pandora mode looks pretty though, kind of wanna cosplay a few things from that. But if that game is gonna be horse shit, then forget it. Capcom is too busy trying to make the fighting game that mom and dad can play and is forgetting about the people who are going to give their games legs. The probability that the hardcore scene will break this game wide open within a matter of hours, let alone days, is dramatically high.

I really don't understand why Capcom thinks added in shit like Xfactor or Gems or Pandora is a good idea. It's like they don't feel like their fighting engine is good enough, so the pack on a bunch of bullshit on top of it that makes it hard to tell where the engine ends and their comeback mechanics begin.

Mass Effect 3 is the only one I'm actively looking forward to.

Of course, that will change as releases come about, I never check release dates except a week in advance to tell the gamestore...

Thanks for making this topic, Hag. Totally forgot about it this year ^^

There actually isn't a lot I'm super excited for in 2012. Kid Icarus should be something fun to play on my 3DS, though, and Bioshock Infinite looks amazingly good. Also GTA V, but I doubt that's a 2012 game.

I'm actually looking forward to SFxT purely for the fact that both Juri and Xiaoyu has just been confirmed. Game-wise not so much, I just want to team the two girls up.

The Last of Us
Kid Icarus
Lollipop Chainsaw
Skullgirls

-Soul Calibur 5: I've been playing Soul Calibur ever since I've been playing games. I can't NOT get it.
-Tales of Graces: I've been waiting for this game to come out over here. I may have to get a PS3 to play it, but I'm still excited for it.
-Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend: I'm looking forward to the new things they're going to do with it.
-Kingdom Hearts- Dream Drop Distance...sorta.: I've been taking what Squeenix releases with a grain of salt, but thus far, this game looks pretty solid. And it has TWEWY characters. I love that they put them in there, and I hope this signals that they're making a sequel for that.

-Bioshock Infinite. 'Nuff said.

-Kid Icarus: Uprising

-Lollipop Chainsaw

-Anarchy Reigns

-Resident Evil 6 and Revelation

-Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die. Aksys said they're not going to localize it though, which is sad, but hopefully someone else will pick this up? This ridiculously named game is the sequel to the equally as ridiculously named 9 Persons, 9 Hours, 9 Doors. 999 was good once you get into it, so I'm looking forward to the sequel if I can ever play it!
