Ok so this is my second cosplay and I'm trying to go all out on this one. I'm gonna cosplay as Taokaka (yeeeey). So I'm assuming you guys know what she looks like so here is my question. Should I wear the black mask or just have red contacts?

I'm going to AnimeNext and it happens in June so the mask will just give me a heatstroke, but the mask puts the cosplay together. I'm also planing to get retractable claws (if i have enough money for it) so the mask will REALLY pull it together. But once again i will be hot.

So, mask or contacts? XD

You could possibly have both? I mean, when it gets too hot, you take off the mask and tadaaa~ contacts underneath.
Otherwise, if you really think you'd be so severely uncomfortable, you shouldn't wear the mask, or you wouldn't really have fun.
Or have you ever considered face paint? As far as I know, her face is sort of hidden in the shadow of the hood, and you can only see the teeth and eyes, and it's unknown if that's her real face or not.

well idk about face paint i heard bad stuff about it if u leave it on too long or something like that. but i might get both if my money will allow it xD. THANK YOOOOU <(^_^<) ^(^_^)^ (>^_^)>
