Leather Boot Tutorial
I hope it's okay to just post a link, I didn't want to spam the thread with pictures.
I've come up with a simple way to make a basic leather boot and written it up in tutorial form over at my dA. http://harmoniccosplay.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4ht4ua It covers how to make a boot that laces tightly to the leg, but I'm sure there are ways it can be modified for making a boot that stands on it's own. This is for those times when a boot cover just isn't enough! This was used to make boots for Sokka and Zuko. I... haven't actually been able to pin Sokka down to get pictures of his, but Zuko's were used and pictured in the tutorial.

This is really nice tutorial! You're very clear and concise. It's nice to have a boot making tutorial for once instead of a boot cover tut

Thank you. It was my first, so I'm glad it's been pretty clear to understand. And I have nothing against boot covers... I just prefer boots. ^_^

Yeeeeesss.... Thank you so much! I may have the courage to redo my Link boots now (-is tired and just realized the irony of this statement-), and try out some different styles too.

This tutorial was simply great *0* I didn't have problems understanding it, you've been quite concise and clear and satisfactory all at once ^^ and I have to admit that it's a nice change of pace from all the boots covers arounds (I so don't like them xP).
