Eyelash Glue as a substitute for Spirit Gum?

Would it work?

Depends on what you're using it for, but yes, I believe it would do the trick on most things

It does work as long as the item is not too heavy. I doubt it would work for elf ears however. You should be able to find spirit gum pretty easily and cheap at most party city's and whatnot in the costume section, even out of season. Also, depending on where you buy from, some places throw in some spirit gum or at least sell it so you can buy everything all at once.

I don't know... I think it would work for that, Promise Phan (dope2111) on youtube used liquid latex to put on her elf ears in some tutorials, which eyelash glue is just liquid latex thats safe(er) for the eye area... but it might not hold that long...

The elf ears I plan to get are small so I don't think they would be that heavy? I'm not sure haha Elf Ears

I've used eyelash glue for all sorts of things. And don't worry, it holds. Plus, the tubes are so tiny you can stuff it in a pocket or something and always reapply it if you're having problems.
