ok, i know it's suppost to be less than 150x150 and a small kb #....
so i resized it to like 30 ppi but the kb # is still really big...how do i make it smaller ![]() (im using microsoft picture it if that helps..) |

i dont know..how that works...do you have Adobe Photoshop? if you do, you can go:
Resources, and then Site tutorials, and it tell you how to resize pics

Try saving your image as a Jpeg or a gif. Depending on what you have installed, MS paint will give you these options. You might currently have the avatar as a bitmap, which is good quality but the file size is huge! If you go to aspect ratio in Paint, you could also just reduce the number to something below 100% and check the image info for pixel size as well.

Bitmaps are a pain and they are insanely huge... In PSP or Photoshop, you can always reduce the amount of colors in an image by optimizing it... It usually saves a lot on space.
