Raichu Help?

I have they basic layout for my Raichu cosplay, I am making an orange sundress with the two strips on the back, brown boot covers, ears, tail, etc. But is there anything else I can add to make it a bit special? Like I have a choker necklace with a pokeball on it. Any make-up tips? Another big concern for this cosplay is how can I pose? Someone please help! Also I have a short orange wig (styled for Kyo Sohma) in my possession and I don't feel like buying another because I'm short on money at the moment. I was curios if I should use that wig or my regular hair (its chin-ish length blonde) Thanks!

If the wig matches the dress, I think you should use that, or dye your hair to a matching orange. I would style the wig to look more electrical, like spike the bangs and the rest of the hair.

I always find it difficult to offer suggestions/advice without any visuals, so please don't mind me if this is stuff you've already thought of....

Something I've noticed that several Raichu cosplayers seem to forget or omit is the white tummy. Personally I like it! So I vote that you have a "white tummy" on your dress (maybe you could incorporate it as an apron).

As for something you might be able to do to make your Raichu stand-out... Perhaps you could make a poseable tail and practice poses that incorporate it's flexibility.

I'm personally a fan of wigs (so long as they're nice quality). However, if I were in your shoes I'd try on the costume both with and without the wig before making my final decision.

Hope that helps!

Yeah I know its hard to work without pictures but I just now started on the dress because ive been so busy lately. I noticed the white tummy thing too!! I've already decided that I will do that.

Do you know what type of filler I could put in my tail? Right now i was thinking about a small lightweight hose.

Well my problem with the wig is I dont get it till the day of the con ( -.- ) I really appreciate all of y'alls suggestions they've helped alot!
