Hi everyone,

Yesterday when I was searching for wigs I stumbled over this one site called http://www.moemall.com/ and they sell wigs that looks pretty good. I've never heard of them before so I'm wondering if anyone here knows about them and has any experiences with them? Thanks!

I've personally never used them but most people in my cosplay group swear by them. They've got a shop in Melbourne and about half the group are going there for a wig run tomorrow. Apparently they are really good quality wigs, but I don't know how good they are with shipping, since they're nearby and we've never needed them to deliver. That said, they are an Australian based shop, so it's unlikely you'll have any problems, laws about trade are pretty strict in Australia, and since it's the only cosplay wig store in Melbourne they'd have to be pretty reliable.

If you're getting a heavily styled wig from them, they explicitly state that it can be crushed in the shipping process. So, you might have to fix it or restyle it. Other than that, the quality is quite good. Their wigs have a more matte finish, so they're not as shiny as, say, epic cosplay's or cosplay.com's. That can be a pro or a con, depending on who you are and your application.

I so far bought two wigs from them(Amaimon and Hope), both have been great quality and they look like the pictures. Except one of my wigs(Amaimon) was semi styled, and looks really bad if left how it is. But I bought it with the intention of restyling it anyways.

@Akune-chan: I don't believe they are as thick as Arda, but I only have one Arda wig to compare to.

With that I may actually purchase the male Stocking wig from here. Plus I have to give them props for having quite a few shows that I had thought of doing but found no decent looking wigs for.

Interesting. Does anyone know about the cap size? Or any in-action pictures? The wigs look lovely, but I don't trust on company pics alone.

I think they run a bit on the smaller size. It has been a while since I wore my Amaimon wig, but I remember I could have the hooks in, but with my other one I started getting a headache with the hooks in the last loop because of the tightness.

I second that. I don't actually own anything from moemall.com, but a few of my friends do. When I tried them on for a test run, they were pretty tight for me ;;'' I don't think I could stand a whole convention day with that. My head is a little big though (22.5), so maybe that's why.

I've heard that they supplied Lucaille wigs? But I'm really not sure myself.

They do. All of the pictures on their site are Lucaille's pictures, and that's what they sell. The price is higher than it would be buying straight from Lucaille, but it's still not terribly expensive. I guess that's what you pay for convenience?

There fantastic. I have bought 2 wigs off them (Ciel*profile pic* and Sebastian) and there great. There really full and ship reasonibly quickly. I highly reccomend them ^_^

I live in Australia (if your in America,they will probably get there quicker), and they shipped pretty quickly. I think it was about a week since it was processed.
