I feel like I keep bothering people so much with my dumb questions but without questions how does one learn, right?
Anyways, I know people have asked how to make a ponytail clip while salvaging a wig or while using wefts. However I was wondering.
Is there a way to make a ponytail clip from the synthetic hair that you cut off from a wig?
For an example.
I would love to buy this wig
for Prince Soma
. Here are some more references of the character:
From what I have seen, his hair is in a half up-do and his hair is wavy and poof like in the back. Now from the wig that I have linked, it is the right color, and the layered part is something similar to what I am looking for. But its the long straight part that is my issue.
I was wondering if it were possible to make a wavy ponytail clip if I were to chop (nicely) the straight part off (not all the way to the weft part) and curl it under low heat. If anything I'd think I could cut some more of the hair from the ponytail and past it to the wig where the wefts are showing while using Malinda-chan's tutorial so wefts showing is not my main issue.
Does anyone have any idea on how I could possibly make a ponytail clip in this situation?
(If you have any other suggestions, all I ask for is to please do not link me to Arda Wigs. The Staff is wonderful however I feel as if their wigs are over priced for over-estimated quality products...So I'd like to avoid them like the plague.)
