Merida's hairline help!

I am cosplaying Merida this summer and I've been working on her wig. I bought three of these:

I cut two up and sewed the wefts into the third. I'm nearly done curling - but I realized that Merida's hairline does NOT include bangs. Ref pic:

I saved the bang wefts from the other two wigs, hoping that I could sew them under the edge of the front of the wig (so that when I curled the bangs upwards like Merida's the edge of the wig would be covered). However, now I'm not so sure that will look very good. I've never made a lace-front wig before - and I've heard that they take a LOT of time.

Merida kind of has three main areas in the front of her hair (the two sides of her face are framed by curls going mostly downwards and the one in the middle that hangs down in the ref pic, but is usually tossed to one side or the other). Would my original plan work? Is it work trying? Or should I just bite the bullet and learn how to make it into a lace front (if that's even possible)?

Thank you so much for reading my rambles!

Yeah a lace front take usually a months time to do your first one as your learning the hooking skill as your go.

I would stick to faking it and putting in smaller curls along the front hairline so that you don't notice the edge.

Maybe this tutorial would help out? You would need some orange fabric scraps and a little bit of extra hair but it's not nearly as time consuming as making a lace front.

Thank you both so much! I think I'm going to try the glued-hairline.
