Ashura's sword
hey there!! i'm makin' an Ashura costume and the only thing left for me to do is the sword. however, her sword is clear and i can't think of how to make it. i'm out of ideas, anyone have any tips??

Plexiglass. If you know someone with a fancy saw, or if your home supply/hardware store REALLY likes you, you can do it that way. Beyond that . . . um . . . then you're into making a model of it, making a mold, and casting it in polyester resin, which wouldn't be exceptionally difficult . . . I'm not sure how it would come out though.
Other thing is, if you're not too picky, get one of those light-up play swords from the toy store and remove the blade or do something else to hide the handle.
