Dark Shadows cosplays?
Since I didn't see a post on this (and only one pic of a cosplay on the search page) I figured I'd start this up. Is anyone interested in cosplaying a character from the many versions of DS? (Original, 1991 revival, new movie?) I have just gotten into this show but I'd love to see a few more Barnabus Collins running around.

I would like to attempt the new Burton movie version of Barnabus however his hair is pretty short and that would look terrible on me. lol If his hair was longer, I'd really consider it.
I'm hoping though that there is a wave of people who cosplay from it. That would be pretty awesome

i've been told by some friends that i should do the new burton movie version of barnabus. but i'll wait till the movie comes out before i decide for sure if i will or not.

Guyliner is my weakness... Completed cosplays (from last fall to now)- Rumpelstiltskin-Red/Black outfit...always in progress (Once Upon A Time) Rumpelstiltskin-Alchemist outfit (Once Upon A Time) Rapunzel In Progress- Cinderella Vampire Girl (Original) Planned- Too much, but I've had to put it on hold due to reasons beyond my control. However, I'm attempting to recreate Leezar's wardrobe from "Your Highness"...one down, four to go.

I desperately want to dress my boyfriend up as the Burton version of Barnabas and take him to a con. But I don't know who to cosplay as with him, since I'd look terrible as a blonde, and I doubt Angelique would be recognisable with her brown hair from the first part of the film

I saw one of the BESTS at a small con a few weeks ago
  I ran around a table just to get a picture of him. He did a fantastic job and the movie hadn't even come out yet! I look forward to seeing more cosplays from this

After seeing the film, I came up with another one...but it's actually a pretty big spoiler from the end of the film...

I LOVE the way that guy did his makeup! It looks pretty much spot on to me xD
I have re-considered and decided that if I can lose a few pounds I'd love to try to do this cosplay I'd love to do this version of him, from the beginning of the film.

Isn't it wonderful? I got so happy when I saw that. Anything Tim Burton I adore, so this was great
And unexpected!And hahaha, that part was hilarious. That would be an awesome one to do.

I agree. I love the look of Tim Burton's films (Colleen Atwood is a great costume designer). I love all the subtle details in the costumes she designs, although it makes my job as a cosplayer more difficult :P
It was. I liked the film, even though most people didn't lol
