Pft I'm 24 and have no intention of stopping. No such thing as 'too old'.
Like others, I have a list of 'old' characters I want to do when I am old. Top of the list? Master Roshi. |

I just turned 34 last week and I still love cosplaying and am currently working on my costumes for Otakon. Like you I also started cosplaying late. (later than you, I started at 30 lol)
I say your as young as you feel/act. ![]()

![]() There is no age at which you're too old to cosplay, but even if there was, from what I've seen (at Anime cons, anyway) 22 seems to be the average age of cosplayers. Older folks are in more evidence at Steampunk and sci-fi conventions. As for me, having recently seen the first episodes of Legend of Korra (I'm a big fan of Avatar) I'm now really hyped about cosplaying Korra's air bending master, Tenzin, at some future date. Not only am I probably his age, but I already sport a bald pate and goatee. ![]() So just go have fun with it, no matter how old you are. |

As long as you're mature about it and act your age, you should be fine. Have fun! And don't be afraid to be a little silly, but please. Don't act like a five year old, as many of these otakus seem to do.

24 and still cosplaying! And sometimes I cosplay as high school girls because I can pull off their look better because of my short height and the way my face looks (I still look quite young! 8D).
Definitely, it doesn't matter how old you are. And by the time you reach to a certain age, you realize that you are still very young. Like how I realized I am still very young and still have so many years ahead of me! |

I'm turning 26 this year, and have no plans to stop anytime soon.
So go on, make your costume and enjoy your con! ^_^ |

I'm going to be 18 soon, and I think I'm still really young. The average age of cosplayers is probably around 22, if i had to guess. ive been going to cons since i was 14, and cosplaying since i was 15. This is my third year cosplaying! Im not totally sure I'll be into this hobby for life, but I definetely see myself cosplaying into my twenties, at least. Honestly, i judge the 12 year olds a lot more than i would a 30 year old.

Cosplay never gets old and you can never be too old to cosplay!
![]() Well that's what I believe anyway.

As everyone has said you're never too old to cosplay. There are characters of all ages so there are cosplays for all ages.
Me personally I don't cosplay charaters my age just because I don't look old enough to cosplay older characters XD
