So, I'm pretty new to lolita fashion. I love it but I need some help with like were to buy it and stuff. I have a blouse and a skirt (off-brand) but that's it. I found this dress that I'm madly in love with and I want to buy it. I am just not sure how good quality it is.

What do you think? I am just worried that because of the price it might be cheaply made and crappy looking. Do you think it is milanoo or a milanoo spinoff brand? Speaking of milanoo and milanoo spinoff brands, what's so bad about them? I've heard they sometimes steal photographs but is there anything else?

I am 99% sure that's a milanoo spinoff, and that's most definitely a stolen picture. For info on milanoo, look here: http://egl.livejournal.com/14481128.html#cutid1 That pretty much sums up how bad they are.

And cheap doesn't have to mean poor quality. I suggest checking out FanPlusFriend or Bodyline or Anna House, Bodyline being the cheapest of the three. All have decent quality, and both have some fancier, more elaborate pieces like the dress you fell in love with, here's some examples:

Even if it doesn't have a watermark, that is still the same type of floral photoshopped background many companies, not just milanoo, use on stolen photos to rip off customers into thinking it is their own merchandise. It's very easy to identify stolen photos, and this place most definitely isn't trustworthy. I can idenitfy a few taobao shop's dresses, and at least one angelic pretty dress with a photoshopped brackground

Even if it doesn't have a watermark, the dress still looks pretty darn crowded and isn't that great. There's too much going on. It looks more like a cosplay dress than actual lolita fashion.

Oh and remember: MilanNO. Just don't do it. It isn't just their products. Their service is ridiculously shoddy and there has been tons of complaints about them. There's much better companies out there to buy better products from. Also, taking peoples advice and not being stubborn also helps when you are first getting into something new.

I suggest Bodyline, the quality has improved over the years and they have very cute things. ^^
