I ended up back ordering the merry wig, and I'll see if I like it or not. If I don't ill probably sell it and get something else. The con I want to go to isn't until the end of October, so I should be good

I wish I could add a weft or a curly clip to harvest from to my Arda order, but none of those are restocked until the end of August. I'm just going to have to use Merry as it comes with some styling for the first time I wear her at AWA. I'll survive, lol.

I did go out and buy almost everything I need, though! My pattern came in and I bought all the fabric. I'm trying to decide if I want to tint the linen I got (I went with the Deep Lake color at JoAnns) into a touch more blue shade, but I do also really enjoy the color as is. I have all the parts to modify my bow, and make the arrows. The only things I lack are supplies to make my quiver, which I think I'll worry about once I get some headway on what I already have on the plate. Same with the cloak. The cloak is the last thing I'm going to be concerned with.

Now to clean up some space in order to work, haha.

Glinda is springy-er for the curls and not as pulled out/long as the Merry.

I'm itching for my sewing machine now..... I should have been sewing weeks ago. >_<

Also the bow will be shipped this week but I'll have it in hand within 3 days thankfully to dress it.

I started sewing the "Epilogue Dress"/ limited Doll Dress today^^. I realy love the dress but cuting the parts and sewing them together again takes soooooooo long -__-

By the way I ordered the Mary G-1000 and Cathy XL from New Look in Fire Red. I will put both together since Merida has not just one curl style.

The hem pattern is really details so I have it listed on spoonflower in both the epilogue black and the Disney Parks blue.

Which wig are you using for the top layer Su Ying?


I'm still waiting for my arrow heads to cur before I can feather the tails. Also made the stones out of tin foil base and a thin layer of paparclay you see on the bottom end of the bow.

The medallions are done however but I had to repaint them are the enamel paint reacted badly to the fimo and refused to cur completely (stayed tack). So I ended up using Rub N Buff in Autumn Gold instead after.

First time using Rub N Buff, It's so cool and little goes a long way.

I can finally start sewing! My machine I can pick up on Saturday, Sears just phoned to let me know. If I get the base dress done this weekend I'm going to try for the epilog/parks version details.

Also order two fiery red new look wig the Mary and Diana 3. I know they will be long enough on me.

I spend last night carving my arrow trips from the paperclay. I still have to wait as the center is still damp before do more work. I also streaked a few my feathers in brown.

I´m done with the dress, finally. Those pattern took more time then I thought -__-. I used foil for them, in Germany its called Flockfolie, one site sticks and the other one looks like velvet

I was going to start working on my arrows, but Pennsic stuff has been eating my life. On the plus side, I should be coming home to the wig Ani_Bee shipped me when I get home. <3 Then the clothing/hair aspect of everything will be done and it will just be prop work

I'll assuming you stick it on then iron the revers side. The site I listed does it only ship 25x20 cm pieces? Although I suspect that is expensive going by the ship price for 1 Meter.

thats another type of this foil, it has no velvet site, but maby you can ask the seller for it.
