Military Lolita
I've been interested in lolita fashion for awhile now, and I've always wanted to try it out, but I've never felt that I could pull off any of the particular styles I had came across until I saw someone doing military lolita had a convention I was at. I think it's something I could totally do and I really love the idea/concept
Though, like some of the other threads in here, I'm still a bit of a n00b, lol. I've tried looking in a handful of various places but haven't really found many tips or helpful things. I was wondering if anybody here had things to share with a newbie, specifically on this style of lolita since there seems to be little information on it. (at least when I try searching for it) |

Well I absolutely love lolita as well as military styled clothing so this would be right up my alley. For beginners I would definitely check out tons of references and styles of lolita. I'm a partial rivet head so I wear military clothes every now and then with my docs. Military styled clothing is to look more masculine while lolita is meant to express more femininity. I would see what you could put together to balance those two out. Maybe go for an Ouji *boystyle* outfit or even regular lolita. I'm not sure if this makes sense :P So please if you have any questions ask. I'd really love to see what you do with this!

I'm not a huge fan of Ouji actually
at least on myself. I was thinking of just keeping it with regular lolita, but rather than like...a dainty, pretty, etc. look, still some prettiness but more "powerfulness". I think the clash/mix of masculine and feminine would be super interesting. I've been looking through a few websites. I guess my first question is if there are any websites besides Fanplusfriend that sell military lolita stuff. Most of what I've been finding mainly sells either gothic, sweet, classic, princess, etc. I've also been trying to find beginners guides on lolita in general. |

Metamorphose had a military dress. It was pulled off the site after people flipped their shit but you could probably still find it around.

Hmm I'm not sure but aside from EGL comm sales you could keep an eye on Closet Child or Clothing Drop.
