I kinda have this posted in another thread, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have it here too.

I was going to try tackling Miranda's alternate appearance visor and was hoping for some tips on how to handle etching the designs into the plastic I was going to use. Is there an easy way to make sure my lines stay straight? Can I tape off the design and use a dremel to sand the plastic?

Or am I making it too difficult? ^.^ This is my first attempt at doing fine detail crafting. The most I have done before was making a Lady Gaga discostick. =p
