This forum has quite a few different threads to check out, which might have been better then making your own. Much of what is said in each thread is the same or very similar. If you'd like to know what I've been doing personally I can let you know, or you can take a look at the other postings too.

PS watch your calories, make sure you eat right, exercise 30 minutes a day and drink LOTS of water.

I guess the simplest way I can put things in this read without rehashing the same over explained business is this: Figure out how many calories you consume to maintain your current weight, and remove 300-500 while adding exercises such as cardio and weights. You will need to burn more calories then you consume to lose weight.

This does not mean you need to measure how many grapes you had, or keep track of every single tiny calorie. Replace large meals with small healthy ones, ideas and suggestions are posted all over this forum and begin exercising and gettin' movin'.

Don't do fad diets. Just work more calories out of your system than you consume. Fad diets do more harm than good, and can hurt you in the long run. And check out your medical history, guide your exercise program according to that. If you have heart problems like myself, you ain't gonna wanna go running 20 miles a day.

A big thing that helps is to get active. Anything that will get your heart rate up will help, less setting around the better. Jogging, swimming, biking, even jumping rope. Also get rid of the junk food and fast food. Don't forget drinks are sneaky calories, give up the sodas if you can and drink lots of water. Water pack tuna and skinless chicken breasts are your friends. And watch your portion size, that's where I have problems. Just a few tips off the top of my head, hope they help. Just stick with it and don't give up.

Only the thing you need to do is yoga, but if you cant and need soon effect then do aerobics, it helps you to lose weight in few days.

Tips? Hmmm...I gave away so many tips so many times that
makes me not even want to type it...
If you beg me to give you tips then I will. 8)
LOL, j/k. I'll give you a few.

-Drink lots of water. Preferably more than a gallon.

-Make a food and training schedule. Best to be organized.

-Consult a trained professional before beginning any training program. <--No one does, but hey never know if you might have problems.

-When doing cardio on the first week take it easy.
Ex. Running for 20 minutes and trying to increase 5 more minutes the next day.

-Try to eat more dark leafy vegetables

-Try not to eat TOO much fruit. Some fruits contain too much sugar.

-Never eat anything white.
Ex. White sugar, white bread, etc.

-Working out with weights also helps in fat loss and helps tone you out.

-Never do those fad diets. Unless you want to kill yourself, then go right ahead...
Ex. Twinkie diet, fruit diet, all-water diet.

-Join a gym. Nothing beats the great equipment, women (hehehe), and ppl there.

Try working on adding muscle. Now muscle weighs more than fat so it's going to seem like you add weight but bear with me. The more muscle you have the more calories get burned as you work out. Now remember how I said it weighs more than fat? That means you start looking like you're trimming the weight down and you'll look good.

Muscle and fat weight about the same. Another user around here put it better then I can however, one is larger then the other but they both essentially weigh the same. As you build muscle you wont see the scale go down but will see the physical changes.
