Cosplayers?? Anyone??
HEY!!!
 im from the sydney area, and was looking to meet some cosplayers?? for supanova? animania? and whatever else is out there.... none of my friends r into it so im kinda alone in the whole thing... i was planing to maybe go as C2 or anya - code geass for supanova Help anyone??  |

Don't worry, I was alone at my first convention. And I thought no one was going to show up from my show. I made friends with someone in the cosplay as me as well as 10 other people from the Yugioh fandom. We had a small but fun photoshoot. They were so nice and they are still my friends and I can't wait to see them at Supanova and Smash again.

I wouldn't worry too much about being alone on your first con. People these days are so polite and friendly you will have a heap load of friends. The first con I went to when I was 14 (Last year) I went with my friend but she wasn't so interested (She was a bit stubbourn) so I went around and met plenty of people who were so polite. It was hard at first for me to make cosplay friends because of my young age (15 here!
) but people online as well as in reality are so unbelievably nice! My advice is to not be afraid to say hello to anyone you meet. If you don't have deviantart I would sugget getting it because a lot of Australians cosplayers are on there and happy to chat. There are also plenty of Sydney based cosplayers out there as well. Deviantart has special groups for Sydney based cosplayers. I wish you luck and if anytime you would like to talk, feel free to PM me!Good luck! |

Yeah i have a friend to go with, but she'll probs only come to supanova with me
so i guess ill just have to try to meet some people... im a bit shy... XD and i do have deviantart, but i mostly look into the art. didn't know there was like chats and groups and stuff. oh well i'll start exploring!!! |
