I've heard Ben Nye's products are good.

Mehron Paradise line has some good coverage. I've always preferred water activated makeups since I don't need to worry about things sticking to my face or accidentally rubbing the makeup off. The only downside is that if you have an issue with sweating (on your forehead, etc) you risk it running.
I used that for my Ulquiorra along with a liquid green makeup from Ben Nye to paint over the dried white.
Just make sure you use a sealer spray of some sort with whatever you decide on.

I used Ben Nye MagiCake Cloud White for the NYCC 2010 convention and I did not use any sealing product whatsoever or a powder setter.

I was wearing a turtleneck (mind you in a beginning convention and it gets pretty hot in NY pretty quickly so that was a horrible decision) at the conventions. I did not have to retouch the makeup at all even though I nearly over heated.

Ben Nye is amazing I wouldn't really want to use anything else.

The only thing I suggest doing is buying their Final Seal as well to use on your hands. After a while, the makeup on your hands will start to smudge off but it does not get onto your clothing. At least that is what I could say in my experience. You can see examples of the product in my gallery

Hope this helps!

Is the magicake a cream? I know I purchased clown white from Ben Nye (I can't recall which line it was otherwise) and it was borderline torture. The entire day I had wig fibers plastered to my face and had to sprint to a bathroom any time someone attempted hugging (and caught my face with a shoulder).
I'm shamed to say I never went with anything Ben Nye after that, but if you've got a line separate from what I tried that's 'drip proof'...

Oh ew its not that D8

It comes in a small 8 oz looking round eye shadow thing. It is a water based makeup. It might initially drip if you drench the sponge of your choice. I suggest to damp the sponge and not drowning it or the MagiCake with water

You can also use Hairspray to seal the makeup. It really does work because I saw someone use it while coloring their face different. I have use Ben-Nye before and I love their products.

I would go with ben Nye or Mehron clown white base make up or any theatrical clown white. Those will look better and be easier to use than regular make up.

Hi Um, do you have a suggestion for how much you should get? How far does 1 ounce go?
