Okay. So I know a few of my cosplay friends who, um, decorate their mannequin heads. Drawing on them or putting silly thing on them. I want to see what sillyness you have your mannequin looking like.

Here is mine but its isn't as silly as some.



This is Michael. He is a pretty hip fella with his tie and sunglasses. He has a boy friend named Austen (the other mannequin head I have). Michael claims to be seme, but I know better. ^_~ <3

I don't do anything to my wig heads... but I know some people draw on them (and then they look super creepy)
I recently saw one at Anime Boston that made me 'lol'. Someone painted their head to look like a human head, and added blood to the bottom of it, making it look like a severed head. It was pretty awesome
There is also a Jack Sparrow impersonator who turned his head into a silver skull... which looks pretty wicked with the Jack Sparrow wig on xD

Awe, I don't have access to my wig heads at the moment, but I've darkened out the eyes on one and put a screw in one of her eye balls, and gave her fangs with blood dripping from them >.>;; drawing on them is fun!

I only own one wig head and one wig stand and I haven't graffiti-ed on the head. I do stick pins in specific areas to look as if it's got piercings though, but I'm just boring like that! Or if I'm getting frustrated with wig styling I'll take it out on the head and stab it's eyes XD I'm weird...
I personally see it as funny (or sometimes artistic and creative) at times.

However I don't like it when I'm browsing through people's adverts on wig commissions or selling their wigs and seeing graffiti on the wig heads, it distracts from the product and makes the wig look unappealing so graffiti your usual one and use a clean one for POS display.

Haven't really drawn on mine much, but because I usually spend cons in the same hotel room as a lot of my friends and I don't want my wig head to get confused with anyone else's, I wrote "Patricia's Wig Head" on the base. Of course, then I had to take a wig with me to school to give it to a friend to see if she could fix it, and I put it on the secretary's desk for safe keeping (she was really awesome and sweet, and I'd known her for years), and I have to say, I pretty much regretted writing my name on the base where everyone could see, especially since I was the only Patricia in the entire school...

LOL. This was me and my Izaya~. I'm her Shizuo.
Yeah, she painted it too look like "Celty's" head from the show(Durarara). I wasn't expecting it and it was awesome. We got sooo many double takes and requests for photo's that day. Oh, and some pretty funny comments. Most of them being, "You've got a severed head. "X3

I don't draw on mine because like SweeneyTodd, I find them creepy when they are drawn in. One does have a ring of pins around the neck that look like a necklace because I keep the pins I use for wig stuff on it.

Mine is new so I haven't the heart to do anything with it. Having said that....my dad apparently takes great joy in waving it in the side window scaring the hell out of the dog next door.

Mine's named Estelle, although she's pretty new so I haven't decorated her. I was reallyyyy tempted to do so, but I'm worried that if I do I'll make it much creepier than it already is.

I dont draw on mine. They startle me enough at night...
The unoccupied one still has a bunch of bobby pins stuck in it, a few too deep to easily get out.
My wig stand is a music stand, it works well and the adjustable height makes my life easy.

Does covering them with bags count. That's all I've done but that's mainly to help control dust build up on the styled ones.

If I did draw on them it would most likely be character specific and not face things but like a trait/symbol associated with them. Like Kurogane would have the crescent moon on the forehead, things like that.

Wig heads are creepy enough as is, regardless on how you decorate them.

...though I don't have that wig head with me right now. The only ones I have are clean. And oddly enough facing my bed... I tend to make them all face in a certain direction, especially if I have access to six or more so that it looks like they're staring at something/someone. Nobody expects the wig heads.
