I'm planning on doing a Snow White cosplay sometime this year; I've found the dress and the shoes, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about the wig. I was thinking of getting a longish one (about mid-neck length maybe) and putting the ends in big curlers and curling the hair upwards towards the top of the head, so that it kind of has that look that the first ref. picture does. I think that's kind of how the Disneyland girls' wig is, too, that's how I want it to look.
Or should I get a bob wig? Or maybe just a curly short wig?

Also, should I get a wig with long bangs or short? I don't really trust myself when it comes to cutting wigs XD

Sorry if this is confusing, I don't really know how to explain what I want to do!

These are the wigs I was thinking of:

Its times like this that we can be thankful for disney parks, they've already figured out the real life styling!

I think a medium bob would be good to start with, or a wig with long bangs about that length.

The arda greta is pretty close to that fluffy princess look, the curls would just need some restyling

I, personally, would get a longer black wig, mid-neck length, as you said, make sure it's fibers are heat resistant, and just curl it under c:
