Hey there guys! *^_^* Yeah.. I just wanted to know how many people go as original characters... I've been pondering the idea for a while now... But, i won't be going this year, possibly next, or the one after. Yeah.. I just CANT wait *^_^*...

I'm working on two original characters at the moment The links to the sketches are under my sig. They're characters I've created for two separate forum-based rpg games and I decided to create the costumes. It let's you get as creative as you'd like and do everything from a blank canvas.

Yeah, i relly like your originals.. *^_^* If i do originals, their gonna be fighting costums. Yup. *^_^* lol.. I have mine designed... Relly roughly.. but here it is *^_^*

I sewed a costume for my friend's original char last year, and this year at some random con we'll be going as Rob Zombie U cheerleaders. You know, just for props toward the rock god.

It's funny how original costuming isn't really a big thing in the cosplay community..because in the sci-fi/fantasy costuming community (which has been around for longer) it's at least 50% original. Maybe because it's been around for so long...*shrug*

I've made an original EGL outfit and have a few other original designs planned for whenever I get around to them...

Yeah... will do.. But the thing is, that me and my friend, are probably either gonna be going as originals, or, a pair... Likr Kagome and Kikyo... Yup, i'd like to do that one.. Or Rikku <<- FFX and some other FF character *^_^* lol... Yeah, we haven't decided on that yet.. but it will be soon *^_^*...

I've done an original faerie and pirate and errr...sushi costume. They're still my favourite ones.

i LOVE the wings on the faerie!!! And the sushi is just great..I just had some the other day..heh.

i dunno why but i find myself more attracted to original costumes at cons then anything else. i guess because when they're done right, they're new, inventive and eye-catching and if you mess up, no one will know ^^.

anyway! i have a original kitty girl in my gallery. however, i don't think it works as a kitty costume, so i plan on turning it into a fairy costume eventually.

Thats cool *^_^* i love the costumes you made *^_^* Duck.. It'll be my first year going... Definatelly not this year... 1.transportation <<- To young to drive 2. Money ... and three... I know my parent's aren't gonna support either of them... So i'm saying either next year or the year after *^_^*

I actually love cosplaying original costume designs more than cosplaying other characters. maybe I'll post some of the design sketches one day
