Dean Winchester Wig?? (IE. How to get a fake close cut)

I'm looking to crossplay as Dean Winchester from Supernatural. I, of course, really want to look like him, which means I need a close-cut/buzz-cut hairstyle. However I don't want to actually cut my rather long hair, I mean, I could, but I'd rather not. Does anyone know of a potentially cheap solution? Even if it's expensive I'd like some suggestions. Anything that'd look good, whether I have to make it or buy it.

So any ideas on where I could get it, or anyone that has any tutorials, anything would be greatly appreciated.

This one you would have to trim down but cant be as short as his hair.

You have to create a new hair line and bangs one this one.

You really can't fake that without a budget and/or a lot of work.

You'd need to pretty much make an all-lace ventilated wig and you'd have to wear it over a bald cap and possibly other pieces to cover your actual hair.

What I'm saying is that what Ani_BEE suggests is as close as you're going to get without making your own full-lace wig or cutting your hair.

Agreed, anything else then a bald cap and wig would look silly.. Especially If you try to cut a normal wig that short. You'll be able to see the wig's net/.

I've been trying to figure out something similar lately. Arda's Rocky has had a lot of positive response, a lot more than Amphigory's Flat Top or a lot of other short wigs I've found. But with the longer hair on top/shorter hair on the sides, it might be better to go with the one Swift put up.

I wonder how it would look to put tiny even dabs of foundation/skintone paint by the roots, like people do for making parts. Ventilating on the front and back for a more realistic hairline? I haven't tried either yet.

I found this wig based on WantAGuava's link and definitely agree that this would be better: http://www.epiccosplay.com/boycut-me...splay-wig.html

It would just require minimal cutting and styling.
