The photo gallery is finished and will re-open Wednesday evening. I will post more information here once the galleries re-open.

The galleries are the most active part of the site, so before they re-open we're going to run through things a bit more to make sure nothing was missed on the design conversion. I'm also running a quick fix to correct some of the images that were showing the incorrect date (some photos were showing up as 12-31-1969).

Costumes are also finished but we're re-opening them after we see activity going through the galleries without any noticeable bugs.

I used to get 1970 instead of 1969.. is it the same bug and fixed too?

Yep, same bug.

If you got 1-1-1970 it's because you're at GMT 0 or GMT +

We're just a couple of hours away now - I need to finish testing the comment system layout and the reporting system, and we'll be good to go.

Galleries with the 4billion photo bug are cleaned up. Also, dates are fixed for images that had the 12-31-1969 bug.

Two functions will be temporarily disabled until we're completely sure the testing works out, favorites and uploading a replacement photo. Favorites will be up quickly, replacing an uploaded image will be at the end of the layout change a day or two from now.

Also, when you upload new images, they will not appear in the gallery for up to 1-2 minutes. This is because your images are being uploaded onto our cloud server storage. Thumbnails and medium sized images are mirrored on 25-30 servers in the USA, Europe, Asia and South America. Users from each specific region will automatically be served the copy that is closest to them, speeding things up tremendously both to the user and across the site itself.

The galleries are open, please let me know here if any bugs pop up.

The photo uploader is still the older version but with the new layout. We will have a new uploader open for testing after the complete site layout is finished.

One new feature is you can flip through galleries by pressing your left/right keys on the keyboard. This works for browsing the main galleries, and also will go to the previous and next images from a photo's page.

Forgot to add - you can already start following other users from within their photos. We'll have the following pages up at the end. But, the follow button works already.

I've noticed for a photo I replaced that the thumbnail is still of the older image.

Please send me a link to the image in question, I'll check into it. We'll have both versions of the thumbnails, so I'll just have to flip that one.
