ALA was okay. I'm pretty sure I won't be going back anytime soon. Was pretty unhappy with it.

My next major project is Rogue and Billy, and then I probably won't work on anything new for a while (I'll be out of school and out of money. Ha) I can't really decide what I want to do about Rogue though, still thinking things. >_> Think, think.

I'd love to run around on Sunday, maybe try out that camera Darryl gave me. ;D But I don't think I could get out there. x:

I'll probably bring a casual costume like Fionna with me since I'll be riding the trolley and don't want to attract attention I can easily dress it down by wearing jeans, and then put on the wig, hat, miniskirt, and backpack when I get there. She's also fun to get into character for :3 (Although I'll probably bring my Cake plush instead of my 5' crystal sword, lol)

Tulipe: Is there no way for you to take public transit? And I can't wait for our group at Comic Con!! I've already bookmarked all of the necessary pages-- found the perfect 2 way stretch shiny pleather, wig, and thigh-high boots!!--and I'll be getting started ASAP after Wonder Con

Michael's craft store usually has fake leaves also.

Ayaasan: Well, I could but it'd take a really long time for me to get out there. x-x And I'm not sure how close it would get in the first place. My aunt might also be in town so I don't know if I'd be able to get out there anyway.

Anyone have any suggestions for Rogue's boots? Should I get some and then make covers? I know I'm going to use the website Ayaasan suggested and buy the legging+glove combo there so half done already!

No guarantees, but I'll see if can finally finish my Hobbit dress! I've been going crazy lately with projects, but I figure I deserve a break to finally finish this simple dress :P
And check out this awesomesauce fabric I found on sale for $3/yard

It practically screamed "Hobbit!!" when I saw it on the bolt (it's actually much brighter in person!~), and I bought enough for the skirt and the front bodice panel. I plan on using left-over green fabric from Merida for the main bodice, and then white for the sleeves and neckline ruffle, and a pale pink apron.

If I wear a coat, no one will look twice at me just wearing a skirt, and I can stow the cloak in my bag :3

Ack, I just checked the weather report, too. Something indoors, methinks. I'd say Old Town, but yet again, outside with a lot of chances for mud. Any ideas, anyone? :/ I swear, San Diego isn't remotely prepared for the rain.

EDIT: placing my makeup order for the Ice Queen, woohoo! Getting some blue lipstick, super sparkly silver shimmer powder for the "ice crystals" and a slightly darker blue base that I'll be adding highlights and shading to. Can't wait to do a makeup test!!~

San Diego doesn't know what to do with it is raining. xD And there really isn't much besides staying in and maybe watching a movie. Boo, what a way to spend my last weekend. D:
