I know, I was super frustrated, since I logged on at 9 on the dot, and it just loaded...loaded...loaded...then told me that the waiting room had reached "maximum occupancy" and passes were "no longer available."
Well, on the brighter side, I can use the money and put it toward a costume I've been wanting to work on for a LONG time and keep putting off. Nah..nah..nah..nah...nah...anyone?
I tend to jump around a LOT when cosplaying, but I've been wanting to cosplay as her since I was about five, lol.
As for Billy, unitards actually aren't that hard, but it depends on how much time you have. I'd recommend either a Kwik-sew unitard pattern
which you could easily adjust to have the zip up the back. I'd buy extra, cheaper fabric for a test run, just in case, and then you can use the test run pieces for your final product
Oooh, some 4-way stretch vinyl
would work perfectly!
OR order a cheapie unitard/morph/zentai from ebay, cut it up, and then use it as a pattern so that you have something more tactile to work with. Kind of like what Kelldar
did with her Batgirl costume. (although she was lucky enough just just have one lying around :P)
The base unitard would work great, too, with some accessorizing, but wouldn't be as accurate, especially since the side tan-ish panels would be kinda tricky unless you actually cut apart the legs and sewed in the panels... Just depends upon what you're up to
