Just patterned out the body for a Catbug plush--he'll end up at around 11"x6" once I add the head. There was a 1/2 sale on polar fleece at Joann's today, so sue me, lol. I'll probably have him peeking out of my con bag, just to see who recognizes him.

@Ayaasan - we should be able to do something before 11, I'm staying at the Hilton also. If you can find a good spot, great. I'm just wondering if there's any policies on light stands and what not.

Jono: I honestly don't know about the policies at the Hilton, so maybe don't chance it...? But I'm sure there are a few spots upstairs in the center. My sister and I took some pics up there last year--just be sure to prop open a door if using a balcony, it locked behind us and when a security guard came over to open it he asked to see badges, lol. Yeah, I totally just climbed a vertical 3 stories...maybe flew? XD. This is only my second year at this convention center, so I'll be sure to "scope out" areas when I'm running around on Friday.

And Catbug is turning out adorable!~ :3

Just need to sew on his legs. I'm going to see if I can get the comic artists from the show to sign him Pendleton Ward would be a dream come true, but I don't know if he has autograph sessions or not :?

Tulipe: They're located in Florida, and I've always received everything within a week. I'm not really sure how long it would take for Hawaii, but it would probably be longer.

EDIT: ACK!! NOT AGAIN! Just checked the weather channel, and it's supposed to be a high of 66 degrees for all of Wondercon with rain on Sunday. At least a majority of my costumes are warm/can be layered. Definitely bringing my cape for Wondie, and I'm thinking of making a pale blue capelet for Alice and Fionna for wearing to and from the center.

Hello! (ouo)/ My name is Steff.

I actually live in Irvine, but I occasionally visit San Diego because I do volunteer work at the Zoo. I'm going to San Diego Comic-Con this year for all four days. It will probably be my first con ever and my first time cosplaying, so kind of nervous and excited at the same time. I plan to cosplay as Kid Loki from Journey into Mystery and Young Avengers.

A bit disappointed that Gillen, the writer of both JiM and the current run on YA, doesn't plan on going. I said that SDCC will probably be my first con because Gillen will be at Phoenix Comic Con. Not sure if I'm willing to drive all the way out there, though. XD;
