Yay! Catbug, BMO, and Gunter will be back on my etsy as soon as I get a day off. Also considering adding Cake, but she'd run at around $80 because of of the crazy amount of hand-sewing and high-quality faux fur for the tail. I swear, we need to hire new people! I worked 8 days in a row before Wondercon, then jumped right back into another 7 day stretch >.<
Now I'm off to start working on a Jedi costume for May 4th. I already have the pants and boots and plan on styling my own hair. My goal is to finish the inner-tunic, outer-tunic, tabbard, obi and belt, and if I have time I'll make the hooded cloak. I just placed my order for the screen accurate belt rivets, so let's get things started!
EDIT: Jedi costuming is actually not as hard as it looks! I'm a detail fanatic, and after Boushh this is easy peasy. Also happy I have most of the supplies already
Jedi fabric stash! Using vinyl instead of leather, since I can't afford it at the moment, but I'll try my best to make it look authentic via interfacing. I got the moleskin fabric at 50% off, and the loose-weave linen for 90% off *woohoo!*
Also, I totally didn't take this costume seriously XD I made sure it was accurate, but it was too easy~
Probably won't be wearing Marshall again any time soon unless it's for a shoot, lol.
