I'm still in the planning stages (ie doing the patterns, buying the fabrics) for two of the three I will be doing. Trying to find fabric close enough for my Daenerys Targaryen cosplay (already started working on the dragon eggs) Going to have them actually open up with the dragons inside and will most likely be making an edible heart too :P But it is soo darn hard to find the proper material for the one costume I want to do (kinda looks like burlap I suppose) Hmmmm Though I found a great tut for making the heart!

I'm having such a hard time figuring out how to take in this blazer without destroying the inside of it. I guess I'm going to have to man up and cut the lining and then go from there but I really don't want to...

As of this week, finally starting on my mockup of Quorra's undershirt thing and the patterning for her torso armour. And MAYYYYYBE working on my "hoof" pieces for Twilight Sparkle.

My sister and I have designed some armor currently. But we need to collect cereal boxes before any construction is started. xD
I've confirmed I'm going as Amaterasu armor form, designed myself and by my sister. Though my sister with her building skills usually does the majority of the work. I might help build and paint the odd thing. xD Anyways I'm hoping I can go. There might be something planned on those days and I'm hoping the date is wrong or changed. ;A; I don't want to miss AN. Hopefully I can go and I look forward to possibly seeing the amazing costumes next year. So far they sound exciting.

I wish I could start my AN13 costume. I'm even falling wayyy behind on my Fan Expo costume. I have my plans for next year though. I'm going as silver age comic Catwoman (purple dress), Bewitching Nidalee and maybe French Maid Nidalee from League of Legends. And if I decide I want to buy a costume I'll have a Zatanna one ready too.

Looks like I need to find out how to make off-shoulder just-attached-on-the-bottom sleeves like on her undershirt, because five tries are still leaving me clueless. I just REALLY don't want to have to go buy a pattern. I figured everything ELSE out fine...

I'll be buying my velvet for Ultimecia come the next 50% off sale. I was going to use stretch, but considering how flimsy it had been with Kuja... hmm... I'll take up the challenge of tailoring to a perfect fit.
